Solution

$g = \frac{GM}{R ^{2}}$ . With $M^{'} = M /10$ and $R^{'} = R /2$ : $g^{'} = g \times \frac{1}{10} \times 4 = 0.4 g = 3.92$ $m / s^{2}$ .
