The NEET syllabus is drawn almost entirely from the NCERT Class 11 and 12 Physics, Chemistry and Biology textbooks — 82 chapters in total across four subjects, split roughly evenly between the two years.

Physics (28 chapters) runs from Units and Measurements and the mechanics block (Motion, Laws of Motion, Work-Energy-Power, Rotational Motion, Gravitation) through Class 11's thermal and oscillation topics, into Class 12's electricity and magnetism block (Electrostatics through Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Current) and finally optics and modern physics (Ray and Wave Optics, Dual Nature of Radiation and Matter, Atoms, Nuclei, Semiconductors).
Chemistry (22 chapters) splits cleanly into three strands that run through both years: Physical Chemistry (Basic Concepts, Thermodynamics, Equilibrium, Solutions, Electrochemistry, Chemical Kinetics), Inorganic Chemistry (Structure of Atom, Periodicity, Chemical Bonding, the p/d/f-Block Elements, Coordination Compounds) and Organic Chemistry (the basic-principles chapter, Hydrocarbons, and Class 12's functional-group chapters — Haloalkanes through Biomolecules).
Botany (17 chapters) covers plant diversity and structure in Class 11 (The Living World, Biological Classification, Plant Kingdom, plant Morphology and Anatomy) and cell biology (Cell: The Unit of Life, Cell Cycle), then moves to plant physiology (Photosynthesis, Respiration, Growth and Development) before Class 12's genetics and ecology block (Reproduction, Inheritance and Variation, Molecular Basis of Inheritance, Ecosystem, Biodiversity and Conservation).
Zoology (15 chapters) opens with Animal Kingdom and body-systems physiology in Class 11 (Structural Organisation, Breathing, Circulation, Excretion, Locomotion, Neural and Chemical Coordination), then Class 12's human reproduction and applied-biology block (Human Reproduction, Reproductive Health, Evolution, Human Health and Disease, and the two Biotechnology chapters).
Not every chapter carries equal marks
82 chapters does not mean 82 equally-weighted topics. Some chapters — Human Reproduction, Genetics, Current Electricity, the p-Block Elements — have produced far more questions across past papers than others. Rather than state a fixed ranking here, which would go stale as more papers are added, the topic-wise weightage page counts this directly from complete previous-year papers, chapter by chapter, and updates as more papers are added to the count.
