D. Walk from A to B adding potential drops: across the inductor L\dfrac{di}{dt} = 1 	imes 1 = 1 V (current increasing); across the cell, entering at the positive plate, a drop of 5 V; across the resistor iR = 2 	imes 2 = 4 V. VA - VB = 1 + 5 + 4 = 10 V.
